A Portland native,
I had the fortunate opportunity of obtaining my foundational training in the heart of Oakland, California. Oakland is perhaps
the most diverse city in the world with no ethnic majority. I have enjoyed working with clients from many ethnic and socio-economic
backgrounds. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups on issues of intimacy, stress
reduction, power struggles, financial concerns, self-worth, and anything that is causing upset. I help people become more
comfortable with the unknown. I have experience with brief therapy focusing on solutions to
specific issues. I also see clients for a year or more working toward living life more fully and experiencing more joy. I am active in the local and national counseling community and stay current in the field. I recently
served as President of the Oregon Mental Health Counselor's Association.
