Philosophy and approach: I work with individuals, couples, adult families, and groups to identify and remove obstacles to growth. I work with clients weekly toward increasing comfort with the unknown and creating more choice in their lives.

Formal education and training: I have a Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology from John F. Kennedy University. My training and ongoing focus is on medium to long-term therapy with individuals, couples, and groups. I participate in continuing education anully and have recently earned a Post-Graduate Certificate in Compassion-Focused Therapy from the University of Derby in the UK.

Fee:  Individual hourly sessions; $130;  couple/family hourly sessions $125. Sliding scale fees may be available. Co-Pays vary for clients using insurance. There is no client fee for EAP services. I am on the following panels and could likely be added to yours rather quickly should you ask: Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Cascade, Lifeworks, and Morneau Shepell. Regardless of EAP coverage, I am not able to work with clients who have Kaiser Permanente for their medical / behavioral health coverage.

Payment is due at time of service. While cash or check is preferred, debit & credit cards are accepted through Square. I am able to accept payment from your health savings card.  There is a $30 fee for checks returned due to insufficient funds.  Please arrive on time, as sessions will also end on time. Please respect the 24 hour cancellation policy: cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged $75.

You may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance. Upon request, a receipt will be provided for you to submit to your insurance company. Please check with your insurance carrier for their policies by calling the number on the back of your card. Medicare/Medicaid/OHP do not cover LPC services.

The exception: I am an in-network provider with Cigna and BlueCross BlueShield, Regence Oregon. Clients are responsible for their co-payment at time of service. Insurance companies do not cover missed appointments; clients are responsible for full fee listed above for no-shows and cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice. To bill your insurance company directly I will need the following bits of information prior to your first scheduled appointment: your full name, date of birth, address, and the group / individual policy numbers printed on your insurance card.
