Offering long-term short-term therapy for individuals, couples, adult families, and groups.
Together we work on issues such as:
life transitions
intimacy and relationship concerns
conscious separation/divorce
grief and loss
anxiety and panic
isolation
mood
and anything causing upset or distress
I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups on issues of intimacy, stress reduction, power struggles, financial concerns, self-worth, and anything that is causing upset. I help people become more comfortable with the unknown; more comfortable in their own skin; more fully alive. I practice from the existential-humanistic perspective largely focusing on the here-and-now of the lived experience.
I have experience with brief therapy focusing on solutions to specific issues. I also see clients for a year or more working toward living life more fully and experiencing more joy.
I am active in the local counseling community and stay current in the field. I have served as President of the Oregon Mental Health Counselor's Association and am a founding board member of Exisitential-Humanistic NorthWest professional organization.
